2004-12-20 [Squirrelywrath]: Ah, that's a good little starter set. Fretboard on the bass is nice, good amount of frets. Amp is lacking in controls, but that can be fixed with a pre-amp. Cable looks to be around 15-20 feet maybe, good length. Definately a good place to start

2005-01-07 [Squirrelywrath]: Um. . make sure to get the intunation(sp) set. It's how high the strings are from the fretboard, if they're too low, you get fret buzz. Uhhh. . You might want to change the strings when you get it, because there's no knowing how long they would have been on there. . Um. . that's all I have right now

Hmm.. today I went to Guitar Store and played this one Ibenaz 5-string (not K-5) and some Warwick 5-string bass.. and I realized how fucked up my bass is lol.

Plus, greenday shits are fucking easy man... no offense to any of you but I don't like punk bass riffs.. easy and they're only played in like 4 frets for the whole 3 minute song. And they'll be acting like it was some hard ass riff.
2005-01-17 [kaitlyn marie]: the used 'taste of ink' is hard(er)-ish then most punk tabs, it's only becasuse it's hard to get the timing and the verse and chorus is different every time... it takes a while for it to sound decent... but, yea, you do have to play something metal to get a decent challenge when it comes down to it all

But if you wanna see a difficult tabs.. look at Red Hot Chili Pepper's, Primus's, some of KoRn's with fiedly slaps and shits, and of course.. of all STU HAMM. He's the king of the bass.
